As all well informed Proggers know, the supergroup Transatlantic is finishing their so-waited new album for a release in 2014.

In May, we had some updates from Mike Portnoy about the recordings and a possible release date to February, now it's almost certain.

Mike stated on that particular month that the fourth studio album of the band is around 75 minutes long and has five songs on it, 2 epics and 3 'normal' length. The band also recorded 8 cover songs to the double special edition of the album.

The band just confirmed their first live date for this tour in New York, USA. Check the info:

Date: Sunday, February 9, 2014
Local: Highline Ballroom, New York, USA
Showtime: 7:00 PM
Tickets: $40-$70 in advance, $45-$75 day of show

Info and tickets HERE.

Usually when the supergroup formed by Neal Morse (ex-Spock's Beard, solo), Roine Stolt (The Flower Kings, Agents Of Mercy), Mike Portnoy (Neal Morse, ex-Dream Theater) and Pete Trewavas (Marillion, Edison's Children), get together is not just for a concert but for a full tour so we can expect many more dates to come.
In the live dates they also have the helping hand of Daniel Gildenlow (Pain Of Salvation) on vocals, guitars and keyboards.

UPDATE:
As expected, little by little the band is adding dates:
Date: February 11, 2014
Local: Teatro Metropólitan, México, DF
Showtime: 9:00 PM
Tickets: $487-$1.112 MX

Info and tickets HERE.

While you wait for that to happen stay with the band live:
